Hello, I'm Maxim (37), a Lufthansa steward with a home in the sky and, for some time now, also at home on the water. My floating home: a 13 m long, over 40-year-old steel sailing ship – ocean-worthy, charmingly vintage, and restored piece by piece by me. We're currently anchored (usually rather than in port – saving on port fees and dolphins in front of the window ) around the Canary Islands. Trips between the islands are planned, as well as longer trips to the Cape Verde Islands or across to Africa. I'm looking for a permanent crewmate to share adventures and the onboard budget (food, port fees, diesel). While I work in Germany for 7-10 days a month, you'd have the boat to yourself – to look after, enjoy, and maybe unwind a bit. Sailing experience is welcome – even someone with sailing experience is welcome. But more important is an easygoing person with a passion for shared life on board, a sense of improvisation, and the joy of solving problems the old-school way.
